After being sent into bat first, Namibia lost the wicket of their right-handed opener http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Gerrie-Snyman-c59913 early on, who departed without contributing. The initial blow however, did not put the side under pressure, as Raymond Schoor and Louis Westhuizen handled
the innings with patience, and took the score to 55.
Their partnership was broken by right-arm off-break bowler, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Davis-Karashani-Arinaitwe-c53318, who picked up the prized scalp of Westhuizen, who walked back to the pavilion after adding 24 runs to the total.

The rest of the Namibian batsmen could not provide any significant contributions to the total and ended their innings at the score of 140 for five wickets. The right-handed opener, Schoor remained the top scorer with 60 of 62 balls, which included six boundaries.
