Naming Our Homeschool?

I need help naming our homeschool. It is required in my state of NC. The students last name I will be teaching is Reynolds. I would like something original and not too boring. She likes horses, red, art, dinosaurs, and of course almost any animal. Thanks.

We used our street name followed by the word "Academy."

If you want to be taken seriously, don't name the school anything silly.

Also, for the sake of your student's right to privacy, do not use their name for the school.

We used our last name "the ... learning center"; however taking into consideration the suggested themes you indicate:

Red Stallions Academy

All Gods Creatures Learning Center

The T-Rex Think Tank

That's about all I have off the top of my head...

we too had t odo the samething in our state, we used our last name with "Learning Center".

Two things to remind you.

It will be the name on her diploma and you cannot change the name later.

Friends picked a name out of random with the idea that they could change it later when they came up with good idea... They got the good idea and were not allowed to change the name of their school.

I personally like the word 'Academy' in connection to the school name.

Reynolds Academy      -  sounds classy.

I live in NC as well and had to come up with a name. I was going to come up with a really unique crazy name but then I started thinking that this name will also appear on college applications so I just decided to use last name.

we wanted to train them up in the Lord, so we took a

reference about the acorn and the mighty oak, and

called it "OAK TREE SCHOOL"

20 YEARS LATER, 'OAK TREE'  IS STILL OUR CORPORATE NAME!
