Nan 1 formula milk made in India and Holland.

I am living in India have8.5 months old daughter. I give her Nan 1/ Nan 2 formula milk. Now I am going for holidays to The Netherlands for two weeks.

Should I carry Formula tins from India for two weeks or I can find it there too. Will the milk taste same as it is an international brand but made in different countries?

Thanks for sharing

  1. if your child can drink other makes and brands of milk Holland has these if you can't find yours.

Albert Heijn is the best and possibly the only supermarket national in Holland try their website. www.ah.nl look for the ah sign when out and about.

  2. My two (7 months & 23 months) have/had Nutrilon.  I was trying to recall the name and it is sold here e.g. in the larger stores of Albert Heijn (supermarket)

I tried to look a little for you (in Dutch) but the specific website for baby products of Nestle is not coming up for me at the moment.

It is true that the products from one country to another are not always the same formula (I have found this personally from reading ingrediants even between two European countries).  As you probably know, it's not a good idea to switch brands (especially for a short time and then back again) as it can cause some problems with the stomach (my oldest had constipation moving from one level to another, even in the same brand)

Therefore I would suggest that you contact Nestle directly for this as usually they are only too happy to help in advice - especially for babyfood questions.

You can try this link later http://www.nestlebaby.com/nl/ (contact in NL for baby food) if it works, or I guess there is also a version in India otherwise

If you cannot find an Email address or online form then here are the contact details for Nestle Nederland

    Nestlé Nederland

    Spaklerweg 53

    1099 BB Amsterdam

    Postbus 12365

    1100 AJ Amsterdam

    telnr.: 020 5699 323

    faxnr.: 020 5699 789

    Nestlé Consumentenservice

    telnr.: 020 5699 699

If there is any doubt then I would definately say bring it with you for 2 weeks.

    Best of luck

EDIT - the link is now working.  http://www.nestlebaby.com/nl/more_questi...  Your question is not mentioned (in Dutch) but this page I linked, gives you a Email address to whom you can send an Email to about it (English will be ok)
