Nancy Drew and the Haunted Carousel: How do I get Harlan Bishop to leave?

I have already gone to the Roller Coaster, and the track landed on my foot, and I got away. Now, when I go to Harlan, there is nothing for me to say to him. I need to get him out of his office. I am stuck at theis point- not sure what to do.

I'm not sure where you are at.  But can you talk to Elliott?  Or is he still mad at you for spilling the paint?  If he keeps telling you, "Haven't heard from Joy yet.  Out!"  You have to go to Joy's office and leave a note (you'll find a paper and pencil on her desk).  But before you have a chance to do that, you'll be inturrupted by a talking computer, Miles.  Once you talk to him, Harlan should be gone.  If not, message me.  I'll help anyway I can!
