Nancy Grace Isn't What Is Wrong With America.?

This country has gone downhill because of the the Bush administration and its policies which has caused a bad economy and unemployment(which can lead to higher crime rates), high gas prices and an unpopular war, may I also remind everone that Nancy Grace is a conservative and voted for Bush(figures). We have also become a society that wants to throw everyone in prison instead of focusing on crime prevention and better mental treatments. More people are in prison now than anytime in history and I do agree that quite a few there are really innocent or are in there for insane laws, like some of our drug laws. I saw a movie the other day based on the true story of a mother who went to prison because of her relationship with a drug abuser that she wasn't even aware of, but did find out and kick him out, but still went to prison. I think we all could also start showing more kindness to one another and maybe this world will be a more comfortable place to live in.

I totally disagree with the first person to answer here. Nancy Grace has been a proven liar and a manipulator. She treats anyone who shows any sign of disagreement with her with utter rudeness and disrespect. She is just for show and is no one to take seriously. Lower income does lead to more crimes, as people cannot afford the basic neccisities of food and clothing, sometimes they have to go to crime to feed themselves and their families and not being able to afford mental care can lead to things like murder and pedophillia. We should all start working better together to make the US a better place to live and there will be a lot less crime.

I beg to differ . I think the blame game has become a habit with far too many people these days . If they can blame anyone else they can in some way be absolved . I think everybody needs to hold themselves accountable for what is wrong with their lives .

That's quite a rant. But nowhere in there do you state why Nancy Grace is such a big problem. That she is a very vocal advocate for victims makes her somehow evil or is it just that she is conservative that makes her evil?? Sorry, I don't get it. Are more people in prison because we want to throw them in there or is it because we have become a society that coddles the criminal to the point that they are not afraid of the consequences anymore?

That you base much of your opinion of the penal system on a MOVIE speaks volumes as to your grasp on reality. I'm shaking my head in dismay as I sign off here...

Edit: After getting your email I took a look at your question archive. You are quite obsessed with Nancy Grace, aren't you? Better be careful or you may be accused of stalking her and next thing you know she'll be talking about you on her show.... Seriously, it's not healthy to focus that much on a celebrity.

BTW, I get awfully tired of people trying to justify violent crime, as you and one of your other answerers, seem to be inclined to do. Nancy Grace doesn't deal with shoplifters for crying-out-loud. We're talking rapists, pedophiles, murderers, etc. A lot of people fall on hard times, but they don't resort to violent crime to resolve their problems. I mean, Sheesh!
