  1. something is wrong with Detroit.

  2. What up DS,

According to Lieberman - Shock coach Bill Laimbeer- tex messaged her on July 13- before the altercation and the timing for the 7 day contract seemed ideal because of all the suspensions.

i'm not sure if it's a media move or what... but not sure why i would want to watch a 50 year lady play basketball.

    Nickster

  3. Shes 50, wow

  4. The WNBA is not a joke, just because they signed her,,I guess we can say NBA is a joke beause they allow men over 40 to still play,, thats a joke

  5. no its not a joke b/c women can ast longer than men.... our bodies are different... most men end their careers at the middle late 30's while women can have babies and still be able to play until like 45..... but i agree i think 50 is way too old.... thats crazy... shes a hall of famer n all but still

  6. Don't talk about Nancy Lieberman! She graduated from my school, ODU! I wonder if Candace Parker or Lisa Leslie will be able to run the floor at the age of 50 like Nancy Lieberman. She actually played basketball with MEN in the 80s!

  7. They just wanted to "make history" by signing a 50 year old and playing her for like 2 minutes.

Just to get the media off the brawl that happened on Tuesday. And that did not work.

Maybe they should sign Angelina Jolie to play for 2 minutes, that will definitely take the media attention off.

  8. Yes, she was signed after the altercation the other night between los angeles and Detroit since Detroit was going to be shorthanded, they go and sign a former wnba 50 year old all star, what a freiken joke. Although hands down to my former lady vol great Candace Parker for owning the Detroit Shock in the fight the other night, very entertaining. This is a joke though, a 50 year old is gonna collapse running up and down that court or come out and have to have knee surgery tomorrow, this is just truly pathetic.
