  1. Fiction cloaked as fact never sold anywhere. And people don't buy books from people they don't trust.

    Simple truth, simple answer.

  2. Not many people are into comic books nowadays.

  3. Book sales can be fickle and the sales may or may not, yet, be successful. I have only read excerpts from her book although I read her interview about the book (yesterday) so I know in general about the contents. That being said Congress is in general disfavor with the people. I think this disfavor is carrying over to her book sales. Furthermore, the book is really written for women (with Pelosi's "progressive" stance) and probably only a certain segment of that population would be interested in her views.

Nancy Pelosi, the leader of the House, decided to go on vacation (or in her case, on a book tour) to show her distain for the people while blaming the Republicans for the stalemate on energy legislation. I don't think this is going over to well with the public in general (bad marketing strategy on the part of Pelosi and her publisher). House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is now in Michigan to promote her book “Know Your Power: A Message to America’s Daughters.”  Like many, I'd rather she head back to Washington D. C. and call the House back into session for a vote on an energy bill.

I am going to source a critique of her book below (sure to outrage many and give me many thumbs down). However, that's OK since I disagree with most of her political stances and the way she is "leading" the House.  Hatred for Bush and the Republicans (with an insatiable lust for the power she will probably get in the Nov. elections) has clouded her judgment. Why compromise when in a few months you can just slam legislation down everyone's throats?

The last time I ans. a question like this one person argued logically against my position and nine people resorted to name calling. Have a nice day and thank -you for your question.

  4. Nancy Pelosi has a vendetta against everything Republican or conservative, so her book is just a "diary of an old bitter hag" who is jealous of George W. Bush because he's the President.  None of her liberal ravings make sense and she does not care about America's rising gas prices.  She also supports San Francisco and other "safe havens" for illegal immigrant criminals.
