Is Pelosi in denial?

Trying to explain Obamas recent plunge in popularity as a aberration?

Is she right and Dems (for the first time in history) now ignoring results of opinion polls?

Please respond!

  1. Lies, Not denial.

Notice she didn't say the polls were or are shortchanging McCain.

Pelosi and her allies will do whatever they can to get Obama into power, regardless of the votes. Just look at the primary. Hillary got more votes than Obama, but they gave the nomination to him.

Get ready for dirty tricks come November. They'll do whatever they can.

  2. Nancy Pelosi is wrong.  She doesn't know what time of day it is, yet alone how to read poll numbers.  Her boy is dropping daily in the polls and how can a poll 'short change' someone.  Numbers are numbers.  Independent pollsters do not fudge the numbers as she suggests.  Obama is losing steam and will continue to do so.  Gallup daily tracking poll has McCain 46% to Obama 44%.  The polls were just fine early on when Obamamanic was at its peak.  It's all down hill from there, and they just have to grin and bear it, instead of trying to incite another right-wing 'conspiracy'.

  3. I thought that Hillary would come out fighting for power at the convention! I was wrong. She now believes that, like Ronald Reagan, she will become the likely successor of Obama once he looses in Novermber!

Remember, electoral losers (Gore, Kerry) are wahed up politically for Preasident if they lose the general election!

    Hillary is looking for 2112.

  4. Shortchanging Obama?  We are in a period where the economy is doing poorly, we've got many more foreclosures then any time in recent past, banks are losing money like crazy and some failing, gas prices are sky high, we're still in Iraq, and a Republican nominee that identifies closely with the incumbant!

A Ham Sandwich running as the Democratic nominee should be at least 15 points ahead of McCain.  What does that say about the weakness of the candidate the Democrats have nominated that he's breaking even???

  5. Short change must be the new Dem-speak for precipitous plunge.

  6. Well she claims that because some polls use likely voters as their base that they don't count as many new voters. the problem is quite a few polls use the registered voter index which will add new voters into the polls. The funny thing is when the democrats do well in the polls you never hear this, only when they do bad there are some factors in play.

  7. Nancy Pelosi is a moron!  She is the scammer of the year!!!  Hide your money folks because she is on a mission to rob us all, so she can retire with millions.

  8. She lives in denial.  There are conservatives as well as many liberals who can't stand her!  I wonder how her book sales are doing.

  9. who cares ?

only one of two things can happen.

    1. Obama wins

    or

    2. McCain wins and we get another 4 years of the same.

McCain has been running so many negative ads for the past month I think that might have hurt Obama's poll numbers.

but at some point McCain is goin to need to talk about issues

and what's he going to say.

Have you enjoyed the past 8 years ?

vote for me and I'll add a few trillion more the the national debt.  maybe start a few more wars make the tax cuts for the wealthy permanent.

what can he really talk about ?  seems attacking Obama is all he can do and for now it is working.
