Nans Turbo expected to dominate Bedford Road Dash
Nans Turbo is expected to dominate proceedings in the Bedford Road Dash at Henlow in England on Thursday, April 19, 2012. The winner of the 277 metres flat race will be awarded a cash prize of £150.
The action is scheduled to start at 19:45 GMT in the Grade OR event, which has attracted six quality hounds. Their names are as follows: Nans Turbo, Riverside Steve, Air Force Solo, Ardrahan Panther, Shimano Swift and Playfield Era.
Looking at the current form of all hounds, the bookies have awarded Nans Turbo with very good odds. There is a lot of consistency in his performances, thus he is carrying terrific momentum at the moment. This will definitely attract a lot of bets from the
punters as well.
The E. Gaskin’s trained runner has managed to win a couple of races out of his past five attempts. He has got plenty of experience, but has not raced at Henlow before, which might work against him at the end of the day. However, the change track conditions
might not be a big worry for him, as he can get used to them quickly.
In his most recent race, the black dog failed to make an impression, as he finished at the bottom of the table. He was not the favourite to win, but still earned decent odds. Despite that, he was unable to match his rivals and ended up in a disappointing
sixth place.
Nans Turbo is the son of Crash out of Ballyguiry Jodie and was born in May 2009.
Another challenger, who has won good odds for the race, is Riverside Steve. He is a quality performer, but needs to bring some consistency in order to attract more bets in his favour.
The R. Pleasants’ trainee is known for his good starts, thus the shorter distance of today’s event will help him make a solid impression. He has managed to win a couple of races out of his past five appearances, which shows that he has the potential to match
his rivals. However, a much stronger effort will be required from him today.
The seasoned dog is the son of Droopys Scolari out of Broadacres Mist and was born in December 2009.
Air Force Solo and Ardrahan Panther will be the other ones to watch out for at Henlow in the race.
