We are going to Naples in a couple of weeks time. Our city centre hotel has offered to collect us from the airport at a cost of 40 euros. Is this a reasonable price or are we being ripped off?

  1. If that is per person one way, it seems expensive. I would check out shuttle and taxi prices if I were you. If this is round trip, it's not such a bad deal.

  2. Would depend on what is "we"Is it a couple a group. Will you need a normal car,a mini bus etc.In my experience hotels generally offer competative rates for thier services. After all thier business is accomodation not ferrying passengers. So I'd think it's a reasonable deal.

  3. 40 EUROS(LORRA MONEY!!) IS A YEAR'S SALARY IN NAPLES(FOR TAX PURPOSES!!)-THE REST COMES FROM DRUG DEALING AND MAFIA 'HITS'

  4. It looks me  to be rather expensive.

If you don't mind not arriving straight in front of your hotel there are shuttlebus from the airport to the centre of Naples which cost is € 1 or € 3 per person. It's obviously depending on where is located yr hotel, if you can reach it by the Metro, how heavvy is your luggage and also (sorry!!) on how lazy you are and if you are or not in a budget. Hotel's service it's easier but also quite expensive. There are different means to reach your hotel (just don't take a taxi, it would cost you a fortune),  but choice it's exclusively yours.

Here's a link for the bus from the airport to Naples centre.
