Walter Mazzarri, the Napoli manager, has revealed that he believes his side could have done even better against Chelsea in the first leg of the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League.

Despite the two goal advantage, the Italian manager revealed he was not happy with the result and had expected his side to score more goals. Mazzarri admitted he had been hoping for a fourth goal to add to Chelsea’s misery in the first leg of the fixture.
Mazzarri said while speaking to reporters:
“We could have scored the fourth goal but we were unlucky with the [Christian] Maggio shot in the final minutes.
It's a pity because we would have been calmer with a three-goal lead.”
The manager is aware that the Blues are a strong side at home and Stamford Bridge has had a reputation of being a fortress, which is why he wanted his side to have secured an even better result. He revealed he expected an even better performance when his
side travelled to England after two weeks.
Mazzarri admitted he was pleased with his side, who had shown resilience and strength, despite not having done too well in the Serie A. He revealed he was looking forward to a good result at Stamford Bridge, with his side having already defeated Manchester
City earlier on in the competition and more recently the Blues.
He revealed:
"It's normal to not always be at 100% but we have never failed in the big games this season.
We are fully aware that we are not in the quarter-finals yet. Even today we saw that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 have great players who can easily score two goals at home.
I'm happy we have already experienced playing in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 in the group stage against Manchester City.
At least we know more or less what to expect in London.”
