Napoli close to Inler and Palacios
Italian outfit, Napoli, are closing in the signing of Tottenham Hotspur and Udinese midfielders, Wilson Palacios and Gokhan Inler, respectively.
The Azzurri are looking to strengthen their squad after qualifying for the UEFA Champions League for the 2011/12 season. Manager, Walter Mazzarri, revealed that his strike force is complete and he will add a few players in the
midfield and defensive departments.
Inler and Palacios have been linked with Napoli for some time now and reports have emerged that the duo will complete their moves within the next week. Reports in the media suggested that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 faced tough competition from Juventus
for the player’s signature but the Turin based side could not agree on a fee with Udinese. The Azzurri have agreed on a reported 12-million Euros fee but the Swiss international midfielder is yet to agree personal terms with the club.

Giaccherini rues lack of offers
Cesena attacker, Emanuele Giaccherini, has revealed that he has not received any offers from the interested clubs as yet.
Several Italian clubs including, A.C Milan, Juventus and Fiorentina, are interested in the player’s signature but none of them have come up with a concrete interest according to the player.
Giaccherini said, “Many clubs enquired after me, but I’ve received no formal offers from anybody. The transfer market is still static. I’m not tearing my hair out over it, as the ‘worst case scenario’ is that I continue playing
for my beloved Cesena.”
The 26-year-old has become one of the important members for the Seahorses and played a huge role in avoiding relegation for his side. The striker is delighted with the capture of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adrian-Mutu-c3742 and believes that he will be a class
act for the club next season.
