Walter Mazzarri, the Partenopei head coach, has reiterated that the players don’t lack passion but they have played too many matches over the course of the season.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 were touted by many to be the one of the most improved sides of the season, however, their recent dip in form has dampened the achievements of the
Partenopei over the course of the season. The San Paolo outfit qualified for Champions League football after a really long time and did themselves proud with their impressive displays in Europe.
They persevered and qualified in a group containing the likes of Manchester City and Bayern Munich. The manner in which they lost out in the last 16 has
had a psychological effect on the players, who have not come back to winning ways after their defeat at Stamford Bridge.

They have not won a match since early March and are currently in terrible form, having lost three games on the trot. The Azzurri seem to have run out of
gas at the end of the season and Mazzarri gave his own verdict on the situation his side is facing.
He reflected on the opinions being thrown around and suggested that many have said that the Partenopei have lost matches in which they have performed well.
The Azzurri head coach further stated that the players had the passion and the drive to give their all, but they were physically tired which reflected on the field of play. He asked the fans to be sympathetic to the players who have had a long and arduous
campaign so far, and commented:
“The players have taken on my character, my determination, they don’t ever want to give up, but sometimes they don’t have much left inside. So, I ask for
support from the fans. You have to evaluate many things. This year we have handled more, we have played a more proactive style of football.”
The former Sampdoria manager commented on their next league clash and stated that there were no easy games in the Lega as was reflected by the Fiorentina-Milan
clash. He commented:
“The League standings suggest the game will go in our favour, but Fiorentina recorded a result at Milan.”
Napoli will be hosting Novara in the week 34 tie of the Serie A.
