The Pescara President has confirmed that he has been contacted by Aurelio De Laurentiis, and has revealed that some players could also be bought by the club from the Partenopei
Pescara’s President Daniele Sebastiani has confirmed that talks have been initiated with Napoli for a number of Pescara players, and has revealed that some players could also be acquired by the club from the Partenopei.
The Delfini will be playing their first season in Serie A after 20 years, and have already lost their manager Zdenek Zeman to AS http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603.
Recent reports suggest that the Delfini are also struggling to keep hold of their starlets, that were central to their promotion from Serie B.
The list of players linked with Napoli include highly rated midfielder Marco Verratti as well as defender Marco Capuano.
Sebastiani revealed that he spoke on phone to his Napoli counterpart, and stated that they have mutually outlined a few objectives for both the clubs, and will be meeting in the next few days to work towards implementing those plans.
The Delfino chief went on to state that the arrangement could see a number of players being exchanged by the two clubs, and insisted that he is looking to establish a strong relationship with the Partenopei through this deal.
While talking to the press, the Dolphins patron said:
“Myself and [Napoli President Aurelio] De Laurentiis have spoken over the phone. We want to do certain things and we hope to achieve them. Maybe in the next few days we can meet. We have some players that could go to Napoli, the same goes for the other way
around. We want a relationship with the Azzurri, this understanding with De Laurentiis is very interesting.”
Sebastiani went on to state that he intends to keep Verratti, Capuano and Insigne with him for another year, and insisted that he is keen to ensure that the three players continue playing in conditions that do not pose too much pressure.
Insigne is owned by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 and will return to his mother club after the end of his loan tenure with Pescara. The 21-year-old scored 18 goals in the 37 appearances for the Dolphins this season.
