The Partenopei outfit have released an official statement regarding the situation they find themselves in, and will contest the sentence handed out with an appeal.
The verdict of the cases against the Vesuviani outfit has finally come about and the penalty has been done as predicted, and the Neapolitan outfit have been docked two points along with being fined in the amount of 70,000 Euros for the financial inconsistencies in their documents and apart from this they were fined and docked points for being “objectively responsible” to the whole situation. This has been deemed harsh by many and has seen the San Paolo outfit lose ground on the race for the Scudetto.
The extreme competition at the top of the table has seen the Vesuviani outfit go from being joint third to being fifth in the standings of the Serie A table. The gap between them and the reigning champions of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 has increased to 10 points, making their task next to impossible to contest for the Scudetto.
Asides from the fine and the docking of points, the southern Italian outfit also see two of their players being banned for a period of six months. The club condemned the decision for this to be handed out at the time that it has, as it disrupts their plans for the season.
