Napoli striker Erwin Hoffer is all set to join 2.Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt on a season long loan with the club having the option of making the deal permanent, if they achieve promotion. The forward spent the last season
with FC Kaiserslautern also on loan and helped the Red Devils finish 7th in the Bundesliga at the end of the season.
Eintracht Frankfurt were relegated from the Bundesliga after a dreadful campaign and will now begin their next season in the second tier of German football. Die Adler finished the season with just 34 points in 17th place
with only nine wins and a staggering 18 losses in the 34 games played.

the Bundesliga but insisted that he is determined to help the club next season.
“I am happy to be here. I am really looking forward to the challenge ahead. It's a big task that is ahead of the whole club, we want to achieve promotion. I want to help the team as well as the club to regain top-flight status,”
the striker was quoted as saying.
Frankfurt manager Armin Veh was elated to have secured the services of the Austrian international and claimed that Hoffer would certainly be a valuable addition to the squad. He also praised the player’s versatility and added that
he can also play on the wings when needed.

Erwin Hoffer made 24 league appearances for FC Kaiserslautern last season and scored five goals in the process. The forward also has 23 international caps to his name and has found the net three times.
