The Partenopei side looking to bolster their midfield, as they target the Juventus midfielder; Candreva move looking unlikely
The agent of Juventus midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michele-Pazienza-c25498, has revealed that Napoli are interested in re-signing his client in the January transfer window.
Pazienza joined the Turin giants from Napoli on a free transfer in the summer transfer window. However, the defensive-midfielder has failed to establish himself in the plans of Antonio Conte, and has managed to make only four appearances
so far this season. The Old Lady have a settled midfield pairing of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arturo-Vidal-c6760 and Andrea Pirlo in the central-midfield, and Conte does not want to risk resting them.
Recent reports linked Pazienza with a return to former club, Udinese, too, but it is believed that the deal has collapsed after the two clubs could not agree terms. Agent, Vincenzo D’Ippolito, has insisted that Francesco Guidolin’s
side is not the only interested team in signing his client, as Napoli also want him back. The agent is open to his client’s return to Stadio San Paolo and insists that further developments will take place in the next few days.
While talking to the reporters, the agent said,

On the other hand, Napoli are also linked with a move for Cesena midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Antonio-Candreva-c6299, in the ongoing transfer window. The Partenopei side is tracking the versatile midfielder for the past few weeks, but according to the
agent, a deal is less likely to take place. He revealed that Walter Mazzarri has asked for a loan option which is unacceptable to the player.
“There is still today and tomorrow to negotiate. However, I think the chances of a transfer to Napoli are remote for Candreva. The Azzurri want him on loan, but the player won’t accept such an option.” insisted Candreva’s agent
After continuous struggles in the league, the Azzurri are in desperate need of a new midfielder to add cover to the squad. The Partenopei side is placed 7th in the league with 29 points from 20 matches played thus far.
