Question:

Naps on a cruise?

If I go on Norwegian cruise lines with my kids they have a kids club. It says they even have quiet areas for little kids to rest. Does that mean they could take thier naps there? I think that would be great if I didnt have to sit in my room while the kids napped!

  1. I'd suggest you go over to CruiseCritic.com, click on "Boards", then go to "Norwegian" and do a search about the kids program, or "naps".  Or you can just post this same question there and experienced cruisers will get back to you.  [To post questions, you need to join CC, but it's free.]

I wouldn't think you'd necessarily need to sit in your room while your child naps, depending on how quiet [s]he needs it to be.  You can find a quiet spot on deck with a couple of lounge chairs [out of the sun, of course] and let the little one nap on one while you read and enjoy the fresh air on the other.  You could bring a pillow and "blankie" along.  Or, if it's too hot, find a quiet, unused area of the ship [the library, a bar that's not serving, etc] and plop yourselves down.
