Narhari Amin blames Narendra Modi for Gujrat Cricket Association’s plight – Cricket News Update
Narhari Amin, the former head of Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA), has revealed that the cricket governing body is going to dogs under the supervision of Narendra http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Modi-c76470, who, he thinks, is not taking interest in cricketing affairs.
Modi, the commissioner of Gujarat state, took over as president of the GCA in 2009. Amin, a congress leader, had to quit his job after being accused of financial corruption, after heading the body for 16 years.
Amin argues that Modi has no active involvement in the managerial and cricketing matters of the association and, as a result, the body is deteriorating.
“Ever since Modi took over as president of GCA on September 15, 2009, the administration of GCA is without any order. Modi has not attended a single executive committee meeting after he took over as the president,” said Amin.

Amin has also revealed that the charter of the GCA was violated in 2009 in order to pave the way for Modi’s appointment as the association's chief.
The GCA is an affiliated body of Board of Control for Cricket in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 (BCCI). It organises and manages different tournaments including Under-13, Under-15, Under-17, and Under-19, Under-22 and Under-25 to promote the game of cricket in the state.
Modi has been a controversial figure since his appointment as Chief Minister of the state of Gujarat. He allegedly triggered Hindu-Muslim communal riots some years back. The riots killed a large number of the natives.
Though Modi has worked a lot for the uplift and development of the state, his good character has been overshadowed by his disputed personality.
Now-a-days, Modi is planning to erect the world’s tallest statue in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Huzefa-Mohammed-Patel-c63657, the late freedom fighter, will be shaped up in a 182 meter tall stone structure.
However, Modi’s plan is being censured by some humanitarian organisations which argue that he should spend money to change the fate of the poverty-hit inhabitants of the state instead of building a statue.
