Narnia: Which figure offers, to be one of Peter's Marshalls?

Reepcheep offered,  but was turned down because he might startle Miraz.  Then one of the Bulgy Bears offered,  citing that the Bears had always held that position.

Reepicheep offered, but Peter turned him down on the grounds that the Telmarines wouldn't take him seriously as a warrior.  Since the whole reasoning behind choosing the marshals was to make an impression on the other side (we're talking "intimidation factor" here), Reepicheep didn't fill the bill.

EDIT - dragon has the turn-down reason correct.  Now that I think about it some more (and IIRC), Peter didn't think it would be fair to freak out the Telmarines by trotting out a talking **mouse** for the duel, when the Telmarines already had issues with talking animals in general.

That's not saying anything against Reepicheep himself, though.  He's one of my favorite characters.  Go Reep!
