  1. None of these is "THE BEST DIGITAL CAMERA" (I'd get a Canon, Olympus or Nikon) but if you're going to buy one of them, get the Kodak EasyShare C713.

  2. You narrowed down the wrong set of cameras. Stay with Fuji, Sony, Canon, Nikon and Panasonic.

  3. To be honest, I personally would steer clear of all Sanyo's and Kodak's and other similar toys.

If interested in buying a good camera, Canon and Nikon produce the best and I would stick with one of those.

  4. I'd prefer the C713 from the models you have listed.  Kodak makes OK digicams, I have several customers who use and love them.  Just treat it carefully, these cheap digicams (of any brand) are somewhat fragile and won't withstand a lot of hard use.

  5. I'm sure you've found the camera that BEST fits YOUR needs.  Contrary to the other answerers, there is nothing wrong with Kodak digicams.  There are many happy Kodak owners.  I'm not familiar with Sanyo's line of digicams.

I Googled both of the Kodak models you've choosen, and they both look about the same.  Either MP model are fine.  But I did notice that the C713 boasts a "HD" (High Definition) stills.  I don't how impressive it would make your pictures look.

There is about a $10 (or a bit more) difference between the models on the sites I've found.

Though I have a question for you, are you basing your choices on the 'color' of the camera, which I find many young people are tending to do?  I mean color cameras are cute, but it's not the end all, be all.  BTW, a link I saw, shows the C713 also available in pink.  (though it also said, 'not in all countries'.)

The best out of your 3, either of the Kodak models.

The best compact, point & shoot digicams brands to consider?  Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus, Pentax, Fujifilm, Kodak, in that order...that's IMO.
