Naruto - 9-Tailed fox vs.....????

The 9-Tailed fox fought The hogayze right...(I need the number and name)

Did dat Hogayze die when he killed the 9- Tailed fox???

And also, how waz the 9-tailed fox waz send to naruto"s body?

Minato Namikaze - the Fourth Hokage. He died while sealing away the nine-tailed beast within Naruto but I'm sure that the nine-tails didn't die. About how the beast was sealed within Naruto I'm not sure, I just know that he use some strong sealing technique.

At least all information we have been given so far is that yes, the Fourth Hogake did die while sealing the Nine-Tail inside Naruto. He used the Reaper Death Seal (the technique the Third used on Orochimaru), though the mechanics don't match up, so it much have been a variation of the technique.

The 4th hogayze died sealing the 9 tails.I think it was the same sealing technique that the 3rd used on oroshimaru.

Yes Minato Namikaze died. becuase that jutsu takes out the life of the caster.  actually, what happend to namikaze is still a good ground for twists. so, nobody could really tell that minato is dead. only kishimoto would know that.  The question that needs to be answered is;

"can the sealed "thing" be transferred to another person before the caster dies?"

if we would recall the fight of orochimaru and sarutobi (3rd hokagay), after sealing orochimaru's arms; sarutobi obtained the tattoo on his mid section.  indicating that he has completed the jutsu. That is the same tattoo naruto has on his mids too.  of course, naruto cannot, and in no way can perform that jutsu.  (heck he was just a new born baby back then!)

so how come naruto has the tattoo?

my theory is that, the sealed thing can be transferred to a person just in time before the caster dies. but that will be in contradiction to the jutsu's description.  it is said that two souls will wage eternal combat in the belly of the shikigami after the jutsu has been completed.  Minato namikaze soul can be inside the shikigami, but the soul of 9 tails is inside naruto.. a real confusing part in naruto series.
