Naruto Shippuuden Ep 71.?

Question

Today i saw the latest Naruto Ep. and in the end Asuma told Shikamaru that he was like a Knight then he asked Asuma who was the King but Asuma said that he'll soon figure it out[something like that]. Im all caught up with the Manga and i know that Shikamaru has already figured it out but it was so long ago that i forgot who it was. anyone know?

I think the point Asuma was trying to make is that there really isn't a king to be out there,but it is Shikamaru duty as a ninja of the hidden leaf in oder to protect the one that is already there and in that case would be the 5th Hokage Tsunade.  However later on in the manga chapters while fighting Hidan Shikamaru states that he believes in the will of fire,and I think that is what Asuma meant to who be king to believe in the will of fire,but to also protect the Hokage at the same time,but also that there really isn't one ruler or king but just  someone as in charge,and that those under his/her are treated as equals too.
