Nascar 09 for the playstation 3?

how do you turn the black flags off it says tap the square button but all i get is the diographm lake a star wars target with

damage tires and other stuff. this is the only downfall of this game and very mading.

When your selecting and track and event, at that page, press square, THEN on the other page at the bottom you can select to turn off the back flags to Yellow only,off,etc.

hopefully that makes sense
