Nascar 09 medallions ?

i need help on nascar 09 for the ps2 with medallions. i was wondering whats the EASIEST way 2 get the medallions and lap 5 cars?

This is cheep, but I found it works, start at the tail-end of the line of cars, work your way up, and cause a crash. (works well with short tracks) Thats the only way I ahve been able to pass 5 cars.

Usually I pit after the field pits so when they are coming out of pit road I pass them and I lap 5 cars.
