Nascar Commercial OVERKILL?

I'm sure alot of you realize that TNT is possibly the worst nascar broadcast of all the stations that have covered it... Lately there have been so many commercials at all the wrong times. 10 laps to go, lets go to commercial and then come back and cover the end of the race... my question is this, would you rather use things like the TNT race buddy where you can go to your computer to watch the race while its at commercial, or would you prefer something like what the open wheel broadcasts do, and show a side by side view with commercials/sound on the one side and the race on the other with no sound, so you can see if something exciting happens.

I really wish someone would use the side by side already.

Why couldn't they blast us with commercials during pre-race...and then have a limited commerical ordeal during the race.

Yea...I LOVE FOX's broadcasting...much better...the ticker on top is clearer, less commercials, more fun, DW is there, and Digger too!

all we get is Race Buddy...which is ok...never used it for the whole race...but ok.

in any event, yea TNT needs to improve.

FOX is 1st, then ESPN/ABC is 2nd, and TNT is last.

I hope it's not the case that Indy wants it all for themselves because it is a selling point for them but let the racing do the selling. I want side-by-side so bad. Sometimes I even find myself watching the commercials during them anyway so just give it to us already. TNT can do Wide Open Coverage without any commercials at Daytona so why can't they do it at every race? It's a catastrophe.

I just used RaceBuddy today and it was GREAT! All this important stuff was happenin during commercials. Don't blame TNT, blame all the channels. They all do that. If they got commentators on RaceBuddy I'd watch that instead of the race on tv.

I really want to recomend NASCAR TNT RaceBuddy to everyone out there on Yahoo! Answers.

I agree with the side by side thing. Watching TNT live just leaves you confused at the end of the race with all the commercials thrown in with brief racing breaks.

I think the side by side thing would be great. They went to commercial and then came back after a caution happened with AJ Allmindinger (SP). I think that is ridiculous. And the whole NASCAR TNT broadcast team over reacts every time something tiny happens.

I just wish that they would stuff that Viagra commercial! There's a lot of families with small children who watch the races.

I timed the broadcast and commercial times , and TNT had an average of 6 mins of race air time squeezed in between 9 mins of commercial time of the total 3hrs 15 mins worth of coverage time.....Bottom line......If I wanted to watch commercials I'd tune in to QVC because they actually have things that I might want to buy. NASCAR should have it's own commercial free network and leave the "Saving Grace, and The Closer" to TNT........Those shows bite anyway   LOL

yeah i think they do commercials at the wrong time... i think it was two weeks ago jimmie was going for the lead and they went to commercial... i think they should have side by side
