Tonight's win made his 17th victory (including all 3 series) this season!

And even though I'm not a fan of his this is pretty impressive!

  1. There has not been a driver in the new NASCAR era that has dominated like Kyle Busch has this season.  He does have serious talent.  He just has the crappiest personality I have encountered in a while... besides J M, that is.

  2. There have been racers in the Cup series that have dominated back in the day. But Kyle is in a league of his own this year.

  3. Not that I can think of. He is amazing and definitely has talent. Like Rack Purdue...I am a proud member of Junior Nation and can still openly admit that Kyle has impressed a lot of people. I'm not a fan of his but I will give him credit. How could anyone not?    =o`)

  4. In the NEXTEL/Sprint series Jimmie Johnson won 10 races last year.

  5. Not since Ive been watching Nascar. Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson dominated the Cup series last year but not a single individual like Kyle has ever been as dominate this year in all series. The kid is good that's for sure.

  6. No one in the modern era of NASCAR has won 17 races across NASCAR's top 3 divisions. The scariest part is that there's probably 20+ races left across the 3 series for him to shatter his own record even more. Very impressive, people can try to downplay it all they want but it takes a special driver to win across all 3 series, and then in late models or anything else with wheels, and for all different kinds of teams, crew chiefs, and racecars. To top it off he's off to the quickest start of anyone in NASCAR history with I believe 38 wins across the top 3 divisions since his career started, and he's only 23. This is just the beginning that were seeing.

  7. winter glory is right. in 2006, harvick won five cup races and nine busch races. he ran in no truck races that year. only six times has a driver won in all three series, and four of those times belong to kyle busch - the last four years in a row as a matter of fact...

1995: Terry Labonte - 3 Cup wins, 1 Nationwide win and 1 Truck win, 5 total

    2003: Kevin Harvick - 1, 3, 1, 5

    2005: Kyle Busch - 2, 1, 3, 6

    2006: Kyle Busch - 1, 1, 1, 3

    2007: Kyle Busch - 1, 4, 2, 7

    2008: Kyle Busch - 8, 6, 3, 17

  8. Jimmie Johnson (last year)

  9. Yes there has.Richard Petty...If Kyle doubles that 17 then he,ll be tied with single season wins with the king...Do you think he can do 10 in a row also?.43 the King!!!!

  10. No, and truthfully I don't think we will ever see another driver have a season like this again. It will be a LONG, LONG ace time down the road I think before someone accomplishes Kyles feat...

Just means next year he is going to struggle like a m**o'.. lol

  11. Jimmie Johnson 2007

  12. He does have some awesome raw talent. Love him or hate him no one can deny the boy can drive.

(Thank you for being who you are!)

  13. Harvick was the closest, he had 14 wins across the series.

(If you were talking about drivers that dominate across the different series)

Kyle surpassed him a couple weeks ago.

    Yay!!
