Nascar Winners Circle and Action Diecast 1:64 scale?

Question

I was wondering, the little 1:64 scale diecast cars, the ones for 2008 that you find at WalMart, there hoods dont open. Are the Action diecast ones, the same scale, do there hoogs open?

i have a bunch of the 1:64 "action diecast collectables" - many from this year - and i know that their hoods open, as they are in the packaging that way.  what i don't know is if their hoods close, as i've never opened the package, but i'd assume so.

Action has both hood open and non-hood open 1:64 cars. The hood open ones are considered an adult collectible and usually cost $9.99. With the COT, the hood open ones have a plastic wing that will break off if it is taken out. They also have a $5.99 version called the Pit Stop series. I like these better because they are obviously cheaper and the wing is attached a lot better, so it doesn't fall apart. The Pit Stop kid version is usually the kind where the beer sponsors are replaced by either Kasey Kahne Racing or Kurt Busch's name.
