Not has he only won driving in the truck series,he has won in the national series, a long track, a short track. and now in a road course track. Kyle Busch is the only nascar driver who has proved to me, he can get in a car that has not even sniffed victory lane in 6 years, and already win 5 times this year. Oh by the way how is the number 5 car doing this year? Last year Kyle finished 5th in the cup with the same car mears can not even finish in the top 15. But there are still people who are not impresed. Shame on you, but the truth hurts

  1. Kyle Busch is one of the best drivers in the series today.  He will probably win the championship this year.  i wouldn't be surprised if he wins 10 or more races this season just in the cup series.

  2. From the heart of this Rowdy fan, thank you..

  3. he's had a great half a season, aside from all the wrecks he's caused. but that's all, a half a season, nothing more. let's wait and see who's hoisting the sprint cup trophy in november

  4. Yes I understand.  No blinders on these eyes.  If they are good I'll say it.  If they are duds I'll say it regardless of who my favorite is.  I hate drivers with the personality of door k***s(no names mentioned) and like drivers that win once in awhile and aren't afraid to put a bumper into anyone.  The dudes good and I enjoy everything that comes out of his mouth as well.

  5. I am not a fan of Kyle Bush, but he can drive the heck out of a car and truck. So I do give him credit were it is due. The question is can he keep it up. Only time will tell.

    Go Dale Jr.  88

  6. Not taking anything away from him, his talents will only go as far as his TEAM sets up the car/truck. It's was obvious he can't drive an ill handling car yet. Spun himself out running second, took out a points leader in another race.

He did an exceptional job winning Infineon in Sonoma.

Let's see how he handles the last ten races that count for the Sprint (Winston) Cup.

  7. Its not that people don't think he not good. Its that people don't like the fact that he is good. The more he wins, the less the fans see their drivers win. Also, and more importantly people don't like a guy that is all about winning and not about the fans. There would be no racing without the fans and I don't think he gets that!

  8. nobody said he couldnt drive

he just needs to get his head out his a$$

  9. Agreed - KB seems to be the next big thing. Seems reminiscent of the 1999 season when a rookie from Indiana came into the JGR stable and lit the world on fire. I just hope Tony doesn't go the way of Bobby Labonte.

  10. if you were anymore right you would be an ice cold budweiser

  11. He won every race possible

  12. I am a fan of good drivers.  I like to take traits, attitude of drivers and find something positive about them, considering it is racing and I love Nascar.

Kyle Busch has accomplished wonders.  I think it is because he was and still is determined.  He races in everything, Truck, Nationwide and Sprint.  That takes a lot of commitment.  I think that is paying off.  Yeah, maybe he use to be a little cocky, but he has grown up and as a result his racing has got better, in a addition to being in a beast of a car!  I think he learns a little more each week.

  13. As I have said quite a few times and so have most others - even from most of the biggest "Anti-Kyle" posters - he is a great race car driver!

I have also stated that unless something happens the second half of the season - either he has major turn of events or someone else starts dominating the way Kyle has - if he doesn't win the 2008 Championship it will be a disservice to the sport!  ANY Team - and yes, Kyle has the backing of obviously a great team who gives him the cars week in and week out to do what he has done - that accomplishes what they have this year and doesn't win would be a tragedy.  But he has the last 10 races that matter the most.

Those at least 50 bonus points he will start with should help a lot should he have a bad race in those 10 races.

But that doesn't mean everyone has to like him or respect him.  In I think 90% of people's opinions, there is more than just winning.  Respect is something that doesn't come along with just winning and must be earned.  He has a long way to go to get that, in my opinion.

What I think some people don't get is that while you may hate Jr. Fans because they defend their driver etc - or whatever it is you don't like about them...it's not easy to respect Kyle Fans either since they feel they must shove it down every single person's throat on an hourly basis...another poster mentioned this as well.  Why must you brag, boast, and flaunt it so often?  These are not things that aren't looked upon kindly.

Pride is one thing but I am quite sure you know it's possible to take it too far.

What's that saying??  "Pride goeth before the fall"??

It's not that, for me anyway, I can't accept that he is a fabulous accomplished driver, I clearly have...but for me, there is more to it than that.   If that isn't important to you for your driver to have respect for himself and others around him - including his fans - and that others return that respect, that's your perogative of course!  But that doesn't mean others are wrong because it is important to them.

  14. You are so right!!!!!! Perfect! ROWDY IS THE MAN!!!!!!!!!

  15. I just think that his talent is overrated since he cannot just get to great froma decent year with HM the year before. I think that he has a great car...

  16. Yes, Kyle is Hot this season.  He had better enjoy it, won't last forever.   Remember when Jeff Gordon was the hottest thing on wheels?   But, I'm happy for Kyle even though I'm a Tony Stewart fan.  Tony has had the worst luck this year, but what to do.........

  17. yup shrubs done a great job this year

Junior racing buddies lets forget about richmond Junior won a race thats what we should celabrate

  18. Richard Petty, Dale Earnhardt, and every other great stock car driver did not do anything on a scale to what Kyle Busch has done. Don't forget about his late model win a while back, either. All those different teams, cars, and tracks in only a short period of time. I just hope he doesn't burn himself out. If he can keep it up, we'll all see something absolutely incredible.

  19. you want me to be impressed with kyle have him finish good with a bad car.  He has had a great car for all his wins thats why i am impressed with jeff look at his car last weekend and he still got a good top-5 finish.

  20. KB is a winner in about anything that has wheels (maybe some things that don't) the kids got more talent and guts in his little finger than many drivers of today or in the past.

That from a fan of Dale Jr

  21. Kyle will take the championship this year if he keeps a level head.

  22. Kyle fans are happy and know exactly what he has done.

On the other hand who wants to have their noses rubbed into it constantly?

I really like Kyle, I am rooting for him at every race, and pulling for him to win the championship but no more than any other NASCAR fan pulling for their favorite driver.

Keep in mind guy r that there is still plenty of races left and the tide can turn at any time.

I agree TBone...no drivers with no personality. Thats why my favorite drivers are the ones that still have ***** to take those chances!!

  23. i could go on and on about rowdy, and i have before, but for now i'll just say this:

it's even more amazing as "this 24 year old kid" turned 23 just last month (may 2nd)!!!

that means it took him less than 55 days to do what it takes most people 365 to do...

    man that kid's fast!!!

    ;-)

  24. yea i understand but i dont really care...(proud hater of kyle busch)

  25. Kyle is on fire this year thats a no brainer. JGR went to work on that car as well so it is not the same car as last year. I hope Kyle succeeds far more further than his older brother who seems to be floundering now. Is that the car or the driver?

We have seen many Kyle's in the past and where are they now? Some, unfortunatley were taken before their time and because of that we will never know how great they might have become. Rob Morroso, Tim Richmond, Davey Allison, Adam Petty, Alan Kolwicki. Wonder if Dale Sr would have had 7 championships or Jeff Gordon 4 had these young agressive and great drivers had lived on. Others also on fire became nothing more than "also ran" the very next year after performing just as well as Kyle is now and even better. Lets not be too hasty in crowning Kyle the new King of NASCAR just yet, he may only make it to a knight as there is a much younger gun reaching for the sword in the stone.

  26. he definately has talent
