Nascar fans thoughts of indy 500?

I havnt watched an indy car race in years I thought nascar was bad about over promoting dale jr but my god every single commercial danica patrick and thats all they talk about is her?

i dont usually watch indy racing i thought there safety crews and clean up crews were very slow

i like the espn side by side racing where they split the screen for comercials

Terrible race. The Indy 500 is the only open wheel race I watch each year, and today showed why. It was wreck after wreck... not that NASCAR doesn;t have plenty of those, but it was overboard today. ... and the cars are so flimsy. C'mon, if Danica had been in a Cup car and gotten bumped on pit road, she would have been perfectly fine... not totally out of the race.  The announcers are very high on Danica for sure,they consistently updated us on where she was on the track and constantly letting us listen in to her conversations.  If she had been a contender for the win, that would have been cool. But she never even challenged anyone in the top 5.

They've still got some good drivers over there, but I didn;t see anything today that would make me consider becoming a Indycar fan.

Um, I've seen a few commercials that didn't mention Danica Midpacktrick.

I can see why Tom Cruise is your friend.  You both make about the same amount of sense.  :  )

they barely talk about Jr., its all about the "buschwhacker" now...but to answer your question..Irl doesnt have near the fan base NASCAR has and they show Danica on the commercials just because shes a pretty face and to try to get ppl to watch. But it was an entertaining race today!

i think if your a race fan,your a race fan, i watched Monaco gp,indy 500 and will see the 600 later today...

nascar has got a problem with the cot tho becasue the racing stinks with it. no side by side just follow the leader racing. and even when they do wrck, it really doenst seem to affect the cars much..such as kyle bush hitting the wall in darlington several times and still goes on to win the race?? that stinks.

and yea there were alot of danika comm but shes the only reason ppl watch anymore so there just using what they got to promote the series. actuall mika duno is hot too.

That is why we are BIG NASCAR fans here in the NASCAR section!  Maybe you and Tom Cruise should find a spectator sport you like better....The Indy 500 is a 92 year tradition, like it or not!

i think that it pretty bad how they promote her some much and it seems like she has become a s*x symbol for irl... she is gorgeous
