Most favorite thing....The aero package. It makes the driver more of an influence instead of just sheer horsepower.

Least favorite thing, Hmmmmmmmm.

Same as the old cars, RESTRICTOR PLATES.

The Cot.....A great improvement on driver safety. Its been proven

                 in a lot of wrecks we've seen this year.

Least favorite..  Get rid of the wing so they can pass & get back to

                        being able to pass.

  To 18s #1 Fan....Congrats to you and Rowdy. You deserve this day.

What I like about the car, the front and back bumpers line up, so the drivers, can get closer, share a draft, with out one car getting loose.

Least:  passing as well.  The excitement  isn't there like it used to be.

Least Favorite- less side by side racing, the are ugly, they handle like a beast ('ve heard 16 drivers say this on the scanners)and that dumb rear wing thing. Have a great day Rowdy's World enjoy going to see Smoke today, and enjoy the fan fest its your day, Rowdy Rules the World today..

as for the COT.... The only thing I don't like about it is I can't figure out why Gordo can't get a handle on that thing.. It's ridiculous! Now the way it looks, that's what I like.. s***w everyone that didn't like the new concept! bringin' that wing back was the best thing they ever did!

Favorite: Much more safer.

Least: The car looks like it was made from scrap metal from a rummage sale. Not of enough passing, needs a better aero package.

fav. the way they look look more like a car i would see on the road then the old one. and it gives the drives more of a challenge to drive.

least fav. that they are to durable. if they wreck they keep going. in any other racing if you mess up and slap the wall your out or don't have a chance to win.

18s #1 fan aka Rowdy's World, I applaud you for your driver loyalty and the way you handle all the controversy surrounding him. It is an honor to call you a contact and I am grateful for all that you contribute to the NASCAR forum. Have a great day and enjoy what should be a very exciting Sprint for the championship this year! My favorite thing about the COT (aside from it being much safer) is the ability to save it from what would have been a wrecked car in the past. These things have a knack for getting straightened out when the back end wants to come around on them. My least favorite thing is the much poorer handling they have.

thanks. i appreciate the honors. i would go on and on (gee like that ever doesn't happen), but i'm late to getting out the door to get a wristband for the tony stewart appearance in rancho cucamonga (i love to say that). then it's off to racefest at the track tonight for many driver appearances, the hauler parade, jeff gordon playing guitar hero against contest winners and whatever the h**l else goes on at one of these things.

if you are at either - look for me. i'll be in a JGR team shirt (JGR and the numbers on the front, driver names and fronts of their cars, showing off the sponsors, on the back), camouflage pants or shorts, and a black, gray, and white "nascar racing" hat that is pretty unique. it looks like i spray painted around the outside of it, but i didn't - it came that way... hope to meet some of you there.

as for least and most favorite things:

least: that nascar hasn't yet listened to the teams about how to improve upon it, other than cutting out some of the foam that kept catching fire on the right side.

most: that the bumpers line up and drivers can bump-and-run and not wreck the other driver automatically anymore - whether it's my boy doing the bumping-and-running or receiving it...

that consequently of its design the racing for the drivers gets harder, which produces less intense racing (although the passing statistics seem to say otherwise)

Not only am I going to honor #18s #1 Fan (one of my favorite answerers around here!), but I'm going to honor #18 in my avatar!

My favorite thing about the COT is that it has re-invented the sport.  Drivers that were getting too comfortable in the old car have a whole new can of worms to figure out... there have been some real surprises on who has it, and who doesn't.

However, that's also my least favorite thing.  It's almost like none of the drivers have any b@lls anymore.  A lot of them were really afraid to race at first!  At least the races are getting better!

#18 is one of the best answerer's on here.  He is very knowledgeable, shares his opinions honestly and supports his driver loyally.  (even if I don't like his driver, I respect the fact that he likes the Busch!).  I always enjoy his answers and appreciate the time he takes to answer sincerely.  It just wouldn't be the same without him.

  Favorite thing about COT.Well the saftey features first,to make the driver safer then it is worth it.

Least fav part is the dayyam rear wing.

Favorite.....the drivers are more safe.

Least Favorite.....Not as much passing, especially for the lead. Hate that they have to rely on a caution to diminish the leader's six second lead to make the race more interesting.

Least Fave about COT too much of one car leading etc and not enough entertainment with them!

Fave thing about them is that they are safer and protect our drivers better!
