Nashville Predators hopeful of a good performance in next game
Nashville Predators were facing threats of elimination after they went up against Vancouver Canucks in game five and trailed the series 3-1. The problems for the Predators got worse as they had to replace one of their premier forwards.
It has always been in Coach Barry Trotz’s nature to discuss his team during the course of the series. He said that the team would continue to come out strong and show their dominance when it comes to the forward line.
"What we did last night is what we want to continue to do. There's some things that we want to sort of refine. We did some things with urgency. We're going to go forward. They've activated people. We've activated people and that's how you open things up".
The first four of the games of this semi-final clash caused a lot of problems for the Predators as the Canucks put themselves in a 3-1 lead. They were unable to find the back of the net on more than two occasions in a single game that resulted in changes
for game five.
The next game is at the Bridgestone Arena and all the Predators fans are hoping that they would come up with a strong performance. Though the Predators lost two home games, they are hoping not to repeat that in game six of the series, as the Predators look
to record a win.
Whether the Predators can continue to do what they have been doing remains to be seen. The Predators came up with a decent performance in game five of the series that saw them winning 4-3 in the end. This effectively made the series a lot more exciting as
the Canucks are leading the series 3-2.
Dumont was the replacement for the injured Smithson in game five and came up with a decent performance. Joel Ward and David Legwand were the stars of game five as they scored two goals each to win the game.
Ward has been very dominating in the play-offs, as he scored seven goals already. He scored only 10 goals in the regular season but has been superb in the postseason.
Trotz said that after the performance in game five, the Predators are all set to come up with an even better and stronger performance.
