Nashville Predators talks about a difficult end to the National Hockey League season, out of the playoffs

Although Nashville Predators made all the way into the semifinals, there are a couple of things that it would have surely learned.
The thing that it would have most certainly accepted is that as you move along the road, the playoffs become difficult and the longer you stay in the postseason and then lose, it makes the defeat more painful.
"All the great teams said they had to learn how to lose before they could win and, you know, we lost a bunch in the first round", said David Legwand, a Predator since the team's first season. "The farther you get the tougher it is to swallow".
Nashville Predators’ journey in the playoffs finally ended as it lost the sixth game against Vancouver Canucks by 2-1 to lose the series at 4-2.
However, Predators would surely be glad over the fact that it finally managed to win a playoffs’ series in the first round on the sixth occasion.
Predators would also be quite happy over the fact that it was able to take the series against the President’s Trophy winners into six games. All the games ended with a single goal’s difference between the two teams with the exception of Game 4.
The thing that most experts believe to be the factor that led to the elimination of Predators was the fact that it was unable to score.
Predators was only able to score 11 goals during the course of the series and there were only five players who were able to write their names on the score sheets, Cody Franson, Ryan Suter, Matt Halischuk, David Legwand, four goals, and Joel Ward, also four
goals.
Another factor that might have caused the team’s exit might be the injuries it faced. A number of players were injured during the course of the regular season and the first round of the playoffs, thus, unavailable for the clash against Vancouver Canucks.
The most notable player that would fall in this category would be Matthew Lombardi who was signed by Predators and was the number one centre for the team.
He certainly has the capability of carrying the entire team on his shoulders but unfortunately he was out due to an injury in only the second game of the regular season.
Another one of the very important players who were missing from Predators’ line-up due to injuries was Cal O’Reilly who is undoubtedly one of the important players in the team.
His presence in the team gives the players a lot of confidence and his absence was surely felt by the team.
Anyhow, Predators is out of the playoffs and now it is hoping that the next time it would carry the weight till the end and win the Stanley Cup.
