do you think this decision will bring about changes in Pakistan cricket.......?

i mean, can they identify true talents other than ppl like Akhtar or Asif...? - sorry to all the fans of Akhtar and Asif ( if they have any)..?

That was quiet selfish, to drop a bomb like that, when pakistan as country and pakistan cricket is in turmoil. it was the wrong time.

The only change this will bring is the end of the PCB! The PCB will fall apart - mark my words!

First of all it is Nasim Ashraf !

Secondly you need to understand that all the appointments as the head of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) are made by the Patron in Chief of PCB i.e. the President of Pakistan.

President Musharraf resigned yesterday and it was only fair of Dr. Nasim to follow suit ... I understand that Champions Trophy is around the corner, but PCB is not one person. It has survived sudden changes at the top level for 50 years and history suggests it should not falter anytime soon either ...

All the organizational structure is in place and very much functioning. The security and logistical arrangements for the proposed Champions Trophy have been made and are available !

Correct decision by Nasim Ashraf as the political appointees generally go with the powers who had appointed them.

This is a normal custom, at least in Asian countries including India.This is not going to make any difference to the game as such,

Well I hope that the board now patches up it's rocky relationship with coach and captain. The selectors need to co-operate with them. And from what I've heard there's been irregularities in the PCB bank account which need to stop. Hopefully this new batch of youngsters will deliver the goods.
