Having made a successful comeback to the national team, the left-handed opener from Lahore, Nasir Jamshed, has revealed that he never lost heart after being dropped from the national team.

The left-hander debuted for the Green Shirts in 2008 during Zimbabwe’s tour of Pakistan, making an immediate impression with his ability to strike the ball hard.
The aggressive stroke-maker made four half-centuries during his first year in international cricket, but was dropped from the national team in 2009 because of issues with his form and fitness.
Over the last couple of years, the opening batsman has worked extremely hard on his game, having performed exceptionally well in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. As a result, he was recalled to the Pakistan side for the Asia Cup 2012, where

Talking about his knock against the Kiwis, the stylish batsman expressed that he was in supreme touch and took the responsibility on his shoulders.
