City took on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 in the Premier League, in a game that the Manchester based club needed to win under all circumstances.
However, things didn’t play out in City’s favour, as the Blues took the lead in the game.
However, in the second half, City were given some hope as they were awarded a penalty kick and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-c33030 Aguero went on to convert from the spot.
With the game heading into stoppage time, Nasri played a ball to Tevez, who then played the midfielder on with one of the best passes of the season and allowed the Frenchman to get in a one-on-one situation with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Petr-Cech-c29837.
Nasri then lofted the ball over the keeper and in doing so, helped secure all three points for his team, as City kept the pressure on Manchester United.
The French international believes that Tevez’s return is bound to have more positive impacts in the future and when talking about the Argentine, Nasri is quoted to have said: "I'm really happy for him [Tevez]"
"He's shown great spirit since he came back and he showed today that he can be really important for the end of the season and that's good for the team."
He also believes that City have shown just about the right team spirit and mentality to go on and win the league.
While talking about how the team has been able to bounce back from losing positions in the past, he went on to add: "It was the same kind of game as in the Europa League against Sporting Lisbon"
"From 1-0 down we showed great spirit and didn't lie down – to win the title, we know we are going to need to win every game."
City now need to try and keep up the form that they have been showing in recent weeks. It is crucial for the team to avoid dropping any more points, since even the smallest of slip ups, could result in United walking away with the Premier League crown at
the end of the season.
