Nassau, Bahamas?

When is the best time during the day to visit the Straw Market in Nassau, Bahamas, also when do the cruise ships port as well? thanks

Best time to get deals are later in the afternoon (3pm or so).  Haggle for a good price.  

As for cruise ships, monday are light (1-2 ships), and Thursday are empty every other week.  Here's a website to check port schedules.  www.porttime.com

Although Thursdays are less crowded.. it's a day when not as much is going on.. and some vendors don't even open up.

I would go to the straw market either first thing in the morning or right when the cruise ships are leaving if you are there on a land package.

Cruise ships, depending on the time of year are there everyday.  I've seen as many as six of the mega ship docked and a couple smaller ones at one time.  So Nassau becomes inundated with tourists for six to eight hours.  Wall to wall people.
