O.k. so shall we have a competition to find the winner.

Distance 10 furlongs. I fancy PEEPING FAWN by a 9fur sire out of a Saddlers Wells(11fur) dam. Trained by O'Brien with Murtagh aboard. Priced at 11-4..

Who will put one up against it...?????

  1. Come on.....PEEPING FAWN is joint favourite. That gives you an advantage right away. LOL

I'll go for NANNINA,  priced at 9-2 for a straight win.

NANNINA - LIGHT SHIFT, for a reverse forecast.

  2. Of the 8 fillies in the field, I think you could make a case for 5 of them.  It's one hot race.

Don't forget that Nannina has won at Goodwood before and it is one of those courses that some horses just don't handle - however as Peeping Fawn and Light Shift both handled Epsom, I don't think Goodwood will be too much of a problem for them.

My only worry with Peeping Fawn is that she likes to get her toe in the ground, and Goodwood drains so fast that Thursday's rain will have had little to no effect by tomorrow.

Mandesha is a good mare, but she is giving weight away and I'm not a fan of Soumillon!

On a personal level I'd like to see Light Shift win so that Henry Cecil's season continues as it should have always been.

    I honestly couldn't call it though, I won't be having a bet!

  3. altho i do think that peeping fawn has a great chance tommorow i really fancy mandisha for it quality french bred dont bet against it
