Nastya luikin had the gold how come they gave it to shawn jonson and gave the silver to nastya??????

Shawn performance on the balance is one of the most amazing performances in the history of women gymnastic.

Given her age and the amount of talent she displayed on that beam Shawn deserve that gold 100%!

I'm sure Nastia does not mind winning the sliver!!

Plus, they are on the same team!!

Just because you want her to win, doesnt mean she is going to, you are ruling out all of the other signifcant factors!

America blamed everyone but johnson for not doing as well as she should have and because of that the judges folded and gave johnson the win.

Shawn deserved it more than Nastia, oh yeah and that dude that has the name "food eater likes Nastia Liukin" copied my name but mine says "hockeyplayer likes Shawn Johnson" Buddy think of your own name. Thats just my opinion that Shawn deserved it more than Nastia.

In balance beam finals, Shawn Johnson had a higher start value (Score A) and a lower execution value (Score B).  Nastia had the opposite.  When you added each of the A and B scores together, Shawn's totalled 2/10 ths higher than Nastia Liukin.  Therefore, Shawn won the gold, Nastia the silver.

Even Nastia Liukin and her father stated that it was fair and Shawn deserved the gold.  Nastia won the gold in the Women's All-Around.  No worries, she is still on top, too. :o)

They are both wonderful gymnasts.

They gave the gold to shawn johnson because she had a higher diffuiclty level than Nastia. She had a 7.0 difficultly and Nastia only had a 6.6 that's what determined the gold and silver medals. I love them both! <3 go USA!!
