The Australian Women toppled New Zealand Women by six wickets in the NatWest Women’s T20, Quadrangular Series encounter and qualified for the Final. The match took place at Taunton Vale Sports Club Ground, Taunton (neutral venue), on June 26, 2011.

The other opener, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Leah-Joy-Poulton-c72374, was joined by the new batter, Jess Cameron, and they halted the Kiwi bowlers’ onslaught.
Both of them were aggressive and scored runs at will while thrashing the bowlers all over the ground.
The Black Caps’ captain tried seven bowlers to break the partnership but was unable to separate them until the innings was consolidated by the duo.

Nitschke was the next batter who came in and played a responsible knock with Poulton, who scored her fifty in the process.
The pair contributed 47 runs for the fourth wicket when Poulton was gone after scoring 61 important runs off 43 balls, aided with six fours.
Nitschke remained unbeaten on 23 runs when Australian Women achieved the target by scoring 147 runs for the loss of four wickets in 17.5 overs.
Tahuhu and Bates shared two wickets each from New Zealand Women.
The Australian Women won the match easily by six wickets and Poulton was declared ‘Player of the match’.
The Aussie Women earned four points from the game and are placed on the second spot with eight points at a net run rate of +0.993.
England Women are at the top of the table with 12 points, and a net run rate of +1.946.
