The fourth match of the NatWest Women’s T20 Quadrangular Series took place on Saturday, June 25, 2011, at Clifton College http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Close-c51347 Ground, Bristol. The game featured India Women against New Zealand Women.
So far, none of the two teams has earned any win as both sides seek to earn a win at the game in order to secure a place for the cup.
In their opening match of the tournament, India Women faced a disappointing eight wickets loss against the Australia Women. As for T20 women’s champions, New Zealand Women gave a competitive run to the hosts, England Women, but the side too was defeated.
India Women won the toss and elected to field. By the end of 20th over, the current T20 women’s champions, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754, scored a competitive total of 125 with the loss of 5 wickets.
The Kiwis opened their session with batters AL Watkins and SW Bates.

Perry, accompanied with opener Watkins, raised the team to a double digit figure. However, after scoring a total of 14 runs for her team, Watkins too went caught out off A Sharma’s delivery.
Watkins’ innings included 1 four and 1 six after facing 11 balls.

After facing 42 balls, the New Zealand Captain was finally bowled out by G Sultana. Martin was the fifth and the last wicket that the team had lost.
