Hi there. My birthday is July 23, 1985 , my birth time is 1:12 p.m. and my birthplace is Chicago, Illinois.

My birth chart is located here:

I’m fairly new to astrology, and I’m having trouble reading my chart. One group of aspects I’ve been trying to understand are the ones applying to my seventh house ruler, Mars.

I have a ninth house Mars in Cancer that is :

Conjoined to my Leo sun in the 9th house

Trine my first house Saturn in Scorpio

Square my first house Pluto in Scorpio

My thoughts are a nurturing and protective man( mars in cancer ) who is affectionate, warm possibly extroverted? ( Leo Sun ) that’s hardworking and ambitious ( trine Saturn )that I may have power struggles or pretty passionate arguments with ( Pluto square ) but who will help me expand my horizons by discussing religion and politics ( 9th house ).

I would like to know if this hack job of mine is either okay, good, bad, or O sweet gods why did you even try kind of thing? Better insight on how I can do this better, a cleaner interpretation, an alternate interpretation, or even a scolding for ruining astrology are welcomed!

As for Juno, that’s even harder for me.

I have it in the 12th house in Libra. I really don’t understand the 12th house at all.

From what I understand, Juno is the soul mate. I have no clue how to interpret the 12th house. I would really like suggestions and insight on this, please.

Thank you!

  1. I think you've described your potential partner(s) very well---I couldn't do better-----have read that 12th house Juno indicates fated relationships that are karmic in nature--possibly the need to care for an ill partner. I also think you should consider Aries/Taurus traits as these are the signs in your 7th house and I believe your significant partnerships will play an important role in your life and development because your Sun/Mars-while in the 9th--are very close to your MC--most elevated and your Taurus North Node is in your 7th house of partnership--placing added emphasis on the need to develop working partnerships
