  1. I think he went down hill after he left brisbane

  2. yeh

  3. he was awsome

  4. In the last 20 years for the Pies? Yes, he certainly was a superstar! Absolute champion of the game. He wasn't a greedy player either, he was always a team player. Not only a champion on the field but a top bloke off the field too. He epitomises the image that the AFL wants to portray to the kiddies. He's a great role model! And I think he has an excellent career ahead of him in the media and, hopefully, one day as coach of the Pies (coaching his gorgeous boy Jett in a Premiership team, that would be picture perfect!)

  5. I think Nathan has been Collingwood's best superstar since the 1990 grand final :)

  6. Yeah, he probably was.

He didn't have much to beat though!

  7. Two  players in the past 80 years have been considered Collingwood's best superstars!  Legendary 8 time magpie Premiership coach Jock McHale,  considered Bobby Rose Collingwood's best of all time, while Rose himself, considered  Nathan Buckley deserved that honour

  8. h**l yea, Bucks was sooo awesome. i miss watching him play!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. **Buckley and all the Collingwood supporters thought he was a superstar but I don't think he was.**

  10. Doesn't come anywhere near Voss.

And it was shown clearly at the 2003 grand final.

The captain sets the standard and the rest follow, and Voss took the hits, played beautifully even though he was injured while Buckley looked confused and couldn't really lead the team.

  11. There is no doubting that he was probably the most skilful but i always found him to come across as a bit Whingy and Whiney when things didn't go his way. This was more evident when Collingwood wasn't travelling so well and he was left to carry the team (this is an outsiders point of view  - sorry pies fans)

It was a real shame that his last couple of seasons were so injury riddled and I was glad to see him win a Brownlow!

  12. he was probably the pies best player and who ever u go for u have to agree with that

  13. i dont think hes the best, but hes gotta be in the top 5 or 10. he was a star.

  14. Well Eddie thinks so, so it must be true.

  15. No, he certainly was not.

He was only a star in the eyes of biased Collingwood supporters. He jagged a share in amedal but what else did he achieve?............ Nothing!

  16. yes one of the best if not the best

    a legend

  17. Yes he was, but there were some other great players that were part of the 1990 premiership side like Tony Shaw and Peter Daicos.
