Coming back to Lyon’s excitement, he cited the upcoming Test series as a big challenge for him, however, showed confidence over his abilities to give a tough to the opponents.
"I wouldn't say it's daunting. I would say it's challenging and I'm always up for a challenge, that's why we play the game. It's definitely going to be a good challenge for every one of us but especially with me being a spin bowler
it's going to be pretty tough but I'm certainly looking forward to it," he added.
Meanwhile, the emerging spinner, who has played 10 First Class matches so far, termed the former leg spinner, Warne as a great spinner, appreciating his class.
Lyon also asserted that he is not looking to follow Warne’s footprints, as he wants to play according to his potential.
"I'm a totally different bowler to Shane Warne, he was the best in the world so I've got my own ambitions and goals to achieve and not worry about what's gone past,” the Aussie spinner expressed.
