National Circuit GP Finals: Lim Yin Fun trounces Lim Chiew Sien in Women’s Singles Group B
Malaysia’s upcoming player Lim Yin Fun put up superb show of top class badminton in Women’s Singles Group B when she toppled Lim Chiew Sien at the Maybank National Circuit GP Finals 2012 in Malaysia, on Friday, December 28.
The impressive Lim Yin, who has been working hard to make her presence felt to the world in the last few tournaments, put up superb show against Lim Chiew and remained successful in winning the battle in just 37 minutes.
Lim Yin started her run in a confident and positive fashion as she played with impressive control and managed to wind up the match in two sets by putting up a comfortable margin on the board.
On the other hand, Lim Chiew failed to play normal game as she could not place her shots in right areas and eventually went down against her in-form compatriot without snatching any set.
It was a wonderful fight in the starting rallies when Lim Yin showed a wonderful display of her craft in the arena.
The speed of the rallies was very fast in first set and Lim Yin impressed local crowd with her tremendous craft.
Lim Yin did not show any sign of confusion as she remained in complete command of the pace until the end of first half.
The match progressed in the similar manner after the mid-game interval as Lim Yin did not lose her commanding position in the arena.
It was an uninterrupted ride for the in-form Lim Yin who did not face any tough opposition from her rival and won the first game with a comfortable 21-10 difference on the board.
In the second game, Lim Yin played with sound speed without sparing any room for Lim Chiew to get a good flow.
The perfectly executed smashes and spinning net shots kept Lim Yin ahead of her rival all the way until the end of first half in second game.
Lim Yin was quick and positive on court in the concluding points of second set and won the second set with a stunning margin of 21-17.
The impressive Lim Yin remained successful in beating her country-mate in a dominating fashion with a strong margin of 21-10 and 21-17.
