National Garage Sale Day????

Question

Last year I was going around my neighborhood (Gilroy CA) on a saturday and I notice there was garage sales everywhere all over town, I asked someone why was there too many and they said it was the Garage Sale Day does anyone know when will that day be this year, I don't remember the day and the reason I want to know I bought so much stuff for very cheap prices.
