National Guard/College

Question

What would be the most relevant MOS in the Guard for someone attending college to major in Political Science. I would think intelligence, but I don't want to be stuck doing paperwork behind a desk. What MOS would have something to do with Political Science that is in the feild?

If you like poly sci Intel is your best field.  You need to do your research and figure where you want to be within the Intelligence Community.  Although some jobs will be behind a desk, they are the minority.  Field work is very common.

Intelligence really sets you up for more of a job in the CIA/FBI field. I would ask your recruiter, intel isnt setting behind a desk... do you really know what that field does?

They look at satellite imagery and conduct interrogations/info pulls from troops that were out in the field. Hardly a desk job.
