I was promoted in the summer of '05 to SPC. We did the ceremony and I was pinned. I've never been demoted or anything.

All the Mail then send me and my pay is still PFC. I'm finishing my 8 year contract out with the Army reserves because I don't get to work in my unit and I'm switching to an engineer unit.

If I could prove I was promoted and this was just a clerical error could I get back pay for all my drill's ,A.T's ect?

  1. you have orders?  If so, then yeah, everything else is gravy.  See your S1.  They should have active guard personnel there (they work full time at your unit, and sometimes they are civilians) to assist you.  If you don't have orders, it'll be tough.

Why you waited this long has me wondering but for the few dollars extra, maybe it just wasn't worth it.  However, you should have completed at least two summer (AT) training events which could add up to some dough.

  2. Find your promotion orders and request an appointment with fianance.
