Nicklas Backstorm
Nicklas Backstorm plays for the Washington Capitals and has one of the most diverse and skillful game in the NHL currently. Coupled with the determination and hard work he puts in while on ice make him an even better player to watch.
Backstorm started off the season slowly but got better as the season progressed. Now he is starting to come up with consistent and productive performance which have not only helped the Washington Capitals climb up with standings but also taken some of the
load off the shoulders of Captain Alex Ovechkin.
Ovechkin already wasn’t performing to the best of his abilities and with Backstorm struggling to find his form, things weren’t looking for the Washington Capitals. However, now that he on the productive roads things are expected to get even better as Ovechkin
is also starting to find his form.
Backstorm despite the lack in the offensive part of his gave has been a very good provider of opportunities for other players in the team. Backstorm with his consistent performances has bagged 46 points in the season out of which 34 due to the assists he
made. He is in the ninth spot for making as many assists in the league so far.
Danny Briere
As the list of most productive and strong forwards in the league continues, we are coming across players from teams in the top half of the table. Danny Briere is another one of the players who has done a lot during the course of the season for the Philadelphia
Flyers so far.
Not only has he creates chances for his team mates but has frequently found the back of the net. Danny Briere has scored 26 goals in the season so far and things are only getting better with the Philadelphia Flyers piling up strong performances to finish
as number one in the league. Briere has a total of 45 in the season so far which has helped the Flyers a great deal.
The Flyers are in a strong position to win the Eastern Conference and if they want to one of the dangerous teams in the play-offs then Briere is one player who needs to continue with what he has been doing so far in the season.
Patrick Sharp
Patrick Sharp, alternate captain of the Chicago Blackhawks finds his into discussion when it comes to the best forwards in the league. Patrick Sharp’s performances in the league has caught the eyes of many around the NHL world and from the looks of it he
is on route for becoming one of the best in the business.
Though the Hawks were struggling at the start of the season but his game was on top from the very beginning of the season. He has emerged as one of the most productive players in the league so far. It can very well be said that he played a major part in
carrying the team at the time when it was really struggling.
Currently, Patrick Sharp has scored an amazing total of 26 goals in the season out which some have been absolutely crucial ones. He is heading the list for most matching winning goals with six and second in the list with most power play goals with a total
of eight.
