I need help with a french project. I am researching the National Library of France (Bibliothèque Nationale de France) and I need how many rooms it has, how many people visit a year, when it was made, and anything else. If you found this on a website or somewhere, please put which one (I have to do a bibliography) Thank you

  1. Okay...here goes nothing:

    -nickname: BnF

-Build (started...)  in 1990, completely done in...1994. I think, but I believe that the library of Research wasn't done before 1998

-For how many people...it's going to be a tough one as  you probably have the visitors, the card-holders, and the web-active-visitors/ readers...so I don't have an answer but I'm sure the linked website will help. I think I have seen a 40 000 somewhere but that might be just one of the category I mentioned above...

-There is, I think, a map on the website

-You can also contact them and ask them plenty of questions

-There are 5 big geographical sites at the bnf:

    1: site Francois Mitterand

    2: site Richelieu-Louvois

    3; arsenal

    4: opera

5: Jean-Vilar (not in Paris, in Avignon)

I think I could for a while like that...: here is the website, sadly most of it is in French, which makes sense but might not be easy...

    http://www.bnf.fr/pages/zNavigat/frame/c...

    More general: http://www.bnf.fr/default.htm

Well...hope it helps, good luck, leave a note if you need some translations...
